Her work utilises traditional as well as digital techniques to create multidisciplinary projects in which color and detailed textures play a significant role. She draws inspiration from a range of anthropological and cultural sources and focus specially in characters, animals and architecture. A special interest in costumes and, lately, in lettering and typography also informs her work.

Isabel Albertos Johnston is a visual artist currently based in Berlin, where she works as an illustrator and graphic designer, as well as art director for Brief Festival.
